Ninety years of weathering did it’s toll on the tin roof and built in gutter at this home along the lake shore in Whitefish Bay. The tin had rusted through and damaged the wood framing and trim below. A Crew from Dave North Roofing removed the iron railing and the old roof. There was extensive carpentry needed to replace the damaged wood. Positive slope was created in the gutter framing. Our crew fabricated and installed a new roof and gutter from 20 oz. copper. All seams were soldered and the top edge fitted into the brick wall. The new wood trim was painted and the iron railing re-installed. This roof will be maintenance free for another ninety years!
